3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
