▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a hidden Book 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
