Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble, recording, 11 They know what you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
