The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
