Verily! Allah forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners in worship with Him, but He forgives whom he pleases sins other than that, and whoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, has indeed strayed far away. 116 They (all those who worship others than Allah) invoke nothing but female deities besides Him (Allah), and they invoke nothing but Shaitan (Satan), a persistent rebel! 117 Allah cursed him. And he [Shaitan (Satan)] said: "I will take an appointed portion of your slaves; 118 And surely I will lead them astray, and surely I will arouse desires in them, and surely I will command them and they will cut the cattle' ears, and surely I will command them and they will change Allah's creation. Whoso chooseth Satan for a patron instead of Allah is verily a loser and his loss is manifest. 119 Satan gives them false promises and tempts them to develop longings which can never be realized. 120 For such the abode is only Hell from which they will find no escape. 121 And those who believed and did good deeds – We shall soon admit them into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in them for ever and ever; a true promise from Allah; and whose Words are more true than those of Allah? (Allah does not lie.) 122 The affair does not rest on your thoughts, nor the cravings of the People given the Book(s); whoever does wrong will get the recompense of it – and will not find, other than Allah, any friend or any supporter. 123 Any believer, male or female, who acts righteously, will enter Paradise and will not suffer the least bit of injustice. 124 And who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allah while being a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth? And Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend. 125 And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and Allah encompasses all things. 126
