"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
