Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return. 95 Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. 96 the while the true promise [of resurrection] draws close [to its fulfillment]. But then, lo! the eyes of those who [in their lifetime] were bent on denying the truth will stare in horror, [and they will exclaim:] "Oh, woe unto us! We were indeed heedless of this [promise of resurrection]! - nay, we were [bent on] doing evil!" 97 Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come. 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 Theirs therein shall be roaring, and therein they shall hear not. 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell), while they abide in that which their ownselves desire. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. 104 Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth." 105 Lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout. 106 We have sent you as a benevolence to the creatures of the world. 107 Say: It is only revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah; will you then submit? 108 But if they turn back, say: I have given you warning in fairness and I do not know whether what you are threatened with is near or far; 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 And know not; haply it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a season. 111 [The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe." 112
