Have you not seen that all those who are in the heavens and the earth praise Allah, and the birds with their wings spread (also praise Him)? Each one has learnt its prayers and its words of praise; and Allah knows their deeds. 41 To God belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Him do all things return. 42 Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are (like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight. 43 Allah turns over the night and the day; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight. 44 And it is God who has created all animals out of water; and [He has willed that] among them are such as crawl on their bellies, and such as walk on two legs, and such as walk on four. God creates what He will: for, verily, God has the power to will anything. 45 We have surely sent down clear signs. It is God who guides whom He will to the path that is straight. 46 They say they believe in God and the Prophet, and have come to believe, yet a section of them turns back even after this; and these are not believers. 47 And when they are called to Allah (i.e. His Words, the Quran) and His Messenger (SAW), to judge between them, lo! a party of them refuse (to come) and turn away. 48 but if they are in the right, they will come to him submissively. 49 Is there a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt or fear lest Allah and His Messenger (SAW) should wrong them in judgement. Nay, it is they themselves who are the Zalimun (polytheists, hypocrites and wrong-doers, etc.). 50
