And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
