Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
