Al-Najm 2 of 3
۞ There are many angels in the heavens whose intercession will be of no benefit unless God grants such permission to whichever of them He wants. 26 Only those who do not believe in the life hereafter call the angels, females. They have no knowledge about it. 27 They only follow mere conjecture which can never sufficiently replace the Truth. 28 Therefore turn away from whoever has turned away from Our remembrance and has desired only the life of this world. 29 That is all they have of knowledge. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Path, and those who are guided. 30 And Allah's is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil according to what they do, and (that) He may reward those who do good with goodness. 31 Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him. 32

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
