۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
