Indeed this is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe; 192 Which the True Spirit hath brought down 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so, We have caused it to enter into the hearts of harmdoers: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years, 205 and thereupon that [chastisement] which they were promised befalls them 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 It behoveth them not, nor they can. 211 Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
