۞ And when the example of the son of Maryam is given, your people laugh at it! 57 And they say: Are our gods better, or is he? They do not set it forth to you save by way of disputation; nay, they are a contentious people. 58 He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel. 59 And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth. 60 And most surely it is a knowledge of the hour, therefore have no doubt about it and follow me: this is the right path. 61 Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed. 62 And when 'Iesa (Jesus) came with (Our) clear Proofs, he said: "I have come to you with Al-Hikmah (Prophethood), and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) in which you differ, therefore fear Allah and obey me, 63 Assuredly God is my Lord and your Lord; therefore serve Him; this is a straight path.' 64 But certain groups created differences among themselves. Woe to the unjust. They will face a painful torment. 65 Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not? 66 Friends on that day will be foes, one to another,- except the Righteous. 67
