The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
