The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
