Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 and tall palm-trees with spathes compact, 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
