Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
