Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 (Muhammad), ask them, "Do daughters belong to your Lord and sons to them? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 and we glorify God". 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glory be to thy Lord, the Lord of Glory, above that they describe! 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
