SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
