And recite to them the news of Abraham. 69 when he asked his father and his people, "What is that which you worship?" 70 They replied, "We worship idols and shall continue to worship them". 71 He said, “Do they hear you when you call?” 72 Or do they profit you or cause you harm? 73 They answered: "No; but we found our forefathers doing so." 74 He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping, 75 "Ye and your fathers before you?- 76 They are an enemy to me, except the Lord of all Being 77 Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me. 78 It is He who gives me food and drink 79 He who cures me when I am ill; 80 And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life 81 Who, I hope, will forgive me my sins on the Day of Judgement." 82 My Lord, give me judgment, and join me with the righteous. 83 And appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the latter. 84 And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Delight, 85 Forgive my father. He has gone astray. 86 And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; 87 The day on which property will not avail, nor sons 88 “Except he who presented himself before Allah, with a sound* heart.” (Intact or unblemished.) 89 And the Garden will be brought nigh for those who ward off (evil). 90 and Hell shall be revealed to the misguided, 91 And it will be said to them: "Where are those (the false gods whom you used to set up as rivals with Allah) that you used to worship 92 besides God? Will the idols help you? Can they help themselves?" 93 They will then be thrown into Hell with those who had gone astray 94 and the army of satan will all be thrown headlong into hell. 95 "Quarrelling therein with each other, 96 By Allah, we have indeed been in an error manifest. 97 When We held you (false gods) as equals (in worship) with the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists); 98 It was the evildoers who led us astray, 99 "'Now, then, we have none to intercede (for us), 100 "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). 101 If we could only return to the world and be among the believers." 102 There is certainly a sign in that, but most of them would not believe: 103 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
