And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
