and We saved the Children of Israel from a humiliating punishment 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 and gave them signs wherein there was a manifest trial. 33 Lo! these, forsooth, are saying: 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 “Therefore bring back our forefathers, if you are truthful!” 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for Our own amusement. 38 We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term for all of them, 40 (when wrong will be distinguished from right). On this day friends will be of no benefit to one another, nor will they receive any help 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
