Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as sustenance for My servants. With this We have brought the dead land back to life. Thus, will also be your resurrection. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
