WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 (Sitting) in groups on the right and on the left (of you, O Muhammad SAW)? 37 Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness [Our being] the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise and sunset: verily, well able are We 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 The day on which they shall come forth from their graves in haste, as if they were hastening on to a goal, 43 With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
