Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 But how are you to know? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
