If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We have not taught him (Prophet Muhammad) poetry, nor does it become him. This is only a Remembrance and a Clear Holy Reading (Koran) 69 To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers. 70 Do they not see that, among the things which Our hands have fashioned, We have created for them cattle of which they are the masters, 71 And We have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding and on some of them they feed? 72 And they have (other) benefits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink, will they not then be grateful? 73 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 So do not let their sayings grieve you. Surely, We have knowledge of what they hide and all that they reveal. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" 78 Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is. 82 Exaltations to Him in whose Hand is the Kingdom of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
