۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
