Al-Imraan 13 of 20
And remember O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) when you came forth from your house in the morning, appointing the believers on positions of battle; and Allah is All Hearing, All Knowing. 121 when two parties of you were about to lose heart, though God was their Protector -- and in God let the believers put all their trust -- 122 God had already helped you at Badr, when you were weak. Fear God, so that you may be grateful. 123 [And remember] when you said to the believers, "Does it not suffice that your Lord helps you by sending down three thousand angels? 124 Nay, but if you are patient in adversity and conscious of Him, and the enemy should fall upon you of a sudden, your Sustainer will aid you with five thousand angels swooping down!" 125 And Allah made it not except as [a sign of] good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise - 126 (They are sent) to break the power of the unbelievers or disgrace them and make them return after having lost all hope." 127 No part of the matter is thine, whether He turns towards them again, or chastises them; for they are evildoers. 128 And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. He forgives whom He wills, and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 129

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
