The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A flaming fire! 11
