The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 In extended columns. 9
