۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
