۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
