Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by what you see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
