And recite to them the news of Abraham, 69 When he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They replied, "We worship idols and shall continue to worship them". 71 'Do they hear you when you call on them' He asked. 72 Or do they benefit or harm you? 73 They exclaimed: But we found our forefathers doing the same!" 74 Thereupon, Abraham said: "Have you seen (with your eyes) those whom you have been worshipping, 75 you and those ancient forebears of yours? 76 "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds; 77 Who created me, then He has shown me the way: 78 and Himself gives me to eat and drink, 79 and when I fall ill, is the One who restores me to health, 80 He who will cause me to die and bring me back to life; 81 And who, I hope, will condone my faults on the Day of Judgement. 82 My Lord, bestow wisdom upon me; unite me with the righteous; 83 Make my words come true in the future. 84 and place me among those who shall inherit the garden of bliss! 85 and forgive my father, for he was among the astray. 86 And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; 87 the Day when wealth and sons will be of no avail, 88 [and when] only he [will be happy] who comes before God with a heart free of evil!" 89 And Paradise will be brought close for the pious. 90 And Hell made visible to those who had gone astray. 91 And it shall be said unto them where is that which ye were wont to worship? 92 "Instead of Allah? Can they help you or (even) help themselves?" 93 The idol worshippers, the idols, the rebellious ones, 94 and so too the hosts of Iblis, all of them. 95 They will dispute between themselves therein, and will say, 96 By Allah! we were certainly in manifest error, 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 "'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. 99 "'Now, then, we have none to intercede (for us), 100 nor any loving friend. 101 Were there for us a return, we would be of the believers. 102 There is certainly a sign in that, but most of them would not believe: 103 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
