▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a hidden Book 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
