۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 Whatsoever the blessings you enjoy are surely from God, and when in trouble you turn to Him in supplication. 53 Yet when He removes the evil from you, lo! a party of you associate others with their Lord; 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 They set apart for those, whose reality they do not even know, a portion of the sustenance We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be called to account for the lies that you have invented! 56 They assign daughters to God, glory be to Him!, but for themselves [sons] that they desire to have. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision. 59 For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil; and for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise. 60
