▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who [the true believer of Islamic Monotheism who performs all the duties ordained by Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW, and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evil deeds prohibited in Islam and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
