۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
