The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
