No, by the moon! 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 a warning to humankind, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About the guilty: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
