He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 Because there came unto him a blind man. 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 You pay full attention, 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge] 8 and in awe of God 9 Him thou neglectest! 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 So let him who pleases mind it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah; 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 Of a drop of seed. He created him and formed him according to a measure. 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 Then He causes him to die, then assigns to him a grave, 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 We send down abundant water, 25 And We split the earth in clefts, 26 And We made corn grow, 27 And grapes and clover, 28 Olives and dates, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 Mother and father, 35 and his consort and his children; 36 on that Day, to every one of them will his own state be of sufficient concern. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 Laughing, joyous. 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 Blackness will cover them. 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
