In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he! 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 Will have a strap of fibre rope around her neck. 5
