O YOU who have attained to faith! Seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: for, behold, God is with those who are patient in adversity. 153 Do not say that those who are killed in the way of God, are dead, for indeed they are alive, even though you are not aware. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 who, when calamity befalls them, say: "Verily, unto God do we belong and verily, unto Him we shall return." 156 Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course. 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Those who hide the clear verses and the guidance We have sent down after We have clarified them in the Book for the people shall be cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers, 159 Except those who repent and amend and make manifest (the truth). These it is toward whom I relent. I am the Relenting, the Merciful. 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving shall incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. 161 therein dwelling forever; the chastisement shall not be lightened for them; no respite shall be given them. 162 And the God of you all is one God; there is no God but He, the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
