We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
