Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from the way of Allah, He rendereth their actions vain. 1 But those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad -- and it is the truth from their Lord -- He will acquit them of their evil deeds, and dispose their minds aright. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 So when you meet in battle those who disbelieve, then smite the necks until when you have overcome them, then make (them) prisoners, and afterwards either set them free as a favor or let them ransom (themselves) until the war terminates. That (shall be so); and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have exacted what is due from them, but that He may try some of you by means of others; and (as for) those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will by no means allow their deeds to perish. 4 He will guide them and amend their condition 5 He will admit them into the Garden He has already made known to them. 6 O you who believe, if you help (in the cause of) God He will surely come to your aid, and firmly plant your feet. 7 But those who reject (Allah),- for them is destruction, and (Allah) will render their deeds astray (from their mark). 8 That is so as they were averse to what has been revealed by God, and their actions will be nullified. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. 10 This, because God is the Protector of all who have attained to faith, whereas they who deny the truth have no protector. 11
