Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
