(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 a warning to humans, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 From the guilty. 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
