Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 And those that strike violently, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 until an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
