And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Fir'awn; verily he was haughty and of the extravagant. 31 We gave preference to the Israelites over the other people with Our knowledge 32 And We vouchsafed unto them signs wherein was a manifest favour. 33 These people say, 34 There is naught but our first death and we shall not be raised again. 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 Are they better than the people of Tubba, and those who had lived before them, whom We destroyed as they were sinners? 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, just for play. 38 We created them not save with a purpose but most of them know not. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42
